Section 100(10) in The Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Rules, 1967
(10)With the sanction of the Director, the Committee may give an extraordinary pension or gratuity -(a)to any officer or servant in execution of his duties;(b)to the family of any officer or servant who is killed in the execution of his duties; or(c)from the compassionate fund established and maintained under clause (e) of sub-rule (8) to the family of any officer or servant left in indigent circumstances on account of the premature death of such officer or servant.
