Section 104(2) in The Bihar Panchayat Election Rules, 2006
(2)The election records shall be kept in custody fora period of one year or till the pendency of any legal proceeding and thereafter to be destroyed, subject to any contrary direction of the Commission or any competent Court or Authority.
