Section 12(ix) in Code of Regulations for Matriculation Schools, Tamil Nadu
(ix)Admission of pupils coming from unrecognised schools can be made ordinarily till 31st July up to Standard VI. The pupils should be judged after testing as fit for the class and the pupils should satisfy the age rules.
