Section 5 in The Rehabilitation Council Of India (Amendment) Act, 2000
5. Amendment of section 13.-
In section 13 of the principal Act, after sub- section (2), the following sub- section shall be inserted, namely:-(2A)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub- section (2), any person being a doctor or a paramedic in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation, orthopaedics, ear, nose or throat (ENT), ophthalmology or psychiatry, employed or working in any h spital or establishment owned or controlled by the Central Government or a State Government or any other body funded by the Central or a State Government and notified by the Central Government, may discharge the functions referred to in clauses (a) to (d) of that sub- section.
