Section 17(1)(i) in The Tamil Nadu Building and other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006

(i)The Government may appoint one of its officers not below the rank of Deputy Secretary to Government as Secretary to the State Advisory Committee and appoint such other staff being in the service of the Government, as it may think necessary, to enable such Committee to carry out its functions.
