Section 21(1) in The U.P. Ground Water (Engineers and Scientists) Service Rules, 1999
(1)Subject to the provision of sub-rule (2) a probationer shall be confirmed in his appointment at the end of the period of probation or the extended period of probation if,-(a)his work and conduct are reported to be satisfactory, and(b)his integrity is certified.
