Section 87(1) in The Rajasthan Sales Tax Act, 1994
(1)The Commissioner may call for and examine the record of any proceeding under this Act, and if he considers that any order passed therein by Assistant Commissioner, Commercial Taxes Officer, Assistant Commercial Taxes Officer or Incharge of a check-post [is erroneous or is prejudicial] [Substituted by Rajasthan Act No. 7 of 2002, w.e.f. 8-5-2002.] to the interest of the State revenue, he may, after having made or after having caused to be made such enquiry,as he considers necessary, and after having given to the dealer a reasonable opportunity of being heard, pass such order or issue such direction as he deems proper under the circumstances of the case.
