- One set of instruments and measures should be set apart as a standard and should not be in general use. Those in use should be compared with the former once a week by the officer-in-charge.Corrections applied to hydrometers and thermometers should be noted on a slip paper which should be pasted to the lid of the box containing the instruments. A copy of the corrections should also be kept near the testing table.
