Section 3A(b) in The Sugarcane Control Order, 1966
(b)if the sugarcane is transported to the factory by road by the owner on his own transport, a rebate, not exceeding 2.5 paise (two and half paise) per quintal per kilometer subject to a maximum of thirty-two paise per quintal, shall be made from the minimum price or the agreed price, as the case may be, subject to the condition that a certificate regarding the actual distance from the purchasing centre concerned to the factory and the rate per kilometer applicable in that case on the basis of which the rebate is charged, is obtained from the Central Government, or the State Government, or the Director of Agriculture, or the Cane Commissioner, or the District Magistrate within their respective jurisdiction.
