(5)The [Executive Director] [Substituted 'Chairman' by Notification No. G.S.R. 668 (E), dated 4.7.2016 (w.e.f. 1.8.1955).] may sanction an expenditure on contingencies, supplies and services and purchase of articles required for the working of the office of the Board and required for the execution of measures in furtherance of the object of the Act, Subject to the necessary provisions in the budget.
