24.08.2020 CM Nos. 3011/2020, 3012/2020:

Let the deficiency be made good as per the Circular No. 16/GS dated 29th March, 2020 upon removal of the current Lockdown.

This application is allowed in the above terms.

1. Issue notice to show cause as to why the appeal be not admitted for hearing returnable on 07.10.2020.

2. Notice in application also returnable on the aforesaid date.

3. Mr. Hakim Suhail Ishtiyaq, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent-Association.

4. In the meantime, there shall be a stay of the effect and operation of the impugned order dated 17th of June, 2020.

5. Giving the nature of the challenge, the writ petition deserves to be decided expeditiously.

6. It is seen from the record of the case that the writ petition was lastly listed before the learned Single Judge on 17th of July, 2020.

7. The writ petition shall be listed before the learned Single Judge on 07th of September, 2020. The learned Single shall make an endeavour to dispose of the writ petition as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of listing of the main writ petition before the learned Single Judge.

8. The writ respondents in the writ petition shall ensure that the counter affidavit is filed within two weeks from today.

9. List the instant appeal on 13th of October, 2020.
