42. Savings.
(1)Nothing contained in this Act shall effect the rights or properties vested in a Gram Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat, Zila Panchayat, Nagar Panchayat, Municipal Council or Municipal Corporation under any law for the time being in force.(2)Nothing contained in this Act shall apply to the minor water bodies in the Scheduled Area of the State.
