Section 8 in The Orissa Forest Shooting Rules, 1973
8. Issue of permit by the Collector.
- Subject to the control of Revenue Divisional Commissioner, the Collector of a District may consult the Divisional Forest Officer and grant to any person a free permit in Form '8' for the destruction of any animals declared by him to be specifically dangerous and on granting such a permit shall immediately inform the Divisional Forest Officer concerned and the Wild Life Conservation Officer.Explanation - 1. The free permit issued under these rules shall not entitle the holder to take the animal or the trophy free of royalty, unless specifically permitted.
