Section 27(1) in The Orissa Grama Panchayats Act, 1964
(1)[Subject to the provisions in Section 9, the election] [Substituted vide Orissa Gazette Extraordinary No.1391/12.12.1995.] of a member, Sarpanch and Naib-Sarpanch of a Grama Panchayat shall be held and conducted in the prescribed manner.
