Section 8A(3)(a) in Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982

(a)Notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being in force, every application made to any local authority for building permit, shall also be accompanied by a detailed estimated cost of the building proposed to be constructed for which a building permit is applied for.
