1232. Travelling allowance of clerks and menial servants.
- A clerk or a menial servant is, except in cases of transfer, or when travelling by boat or public conveyance, only entitled to actual travelling expenses not exceeding the rate for his class. A certificate shall invariably be furnished in support of such charges to the effect that the amounts charged for in travelling allowance bills represent actual expenses.
