Section 5(1) in Gudalur Janmam Estates (Abolition and Conversion Into Ryotwari) Act, 1969
(1)As soon as may be after the publication of this Act in the Fort St. George Gazette, the Government shall appoint one or more Settlement Officers to carry out the functions and duties assigned to them by or under this Act.
