Section 9(2) in Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1941
(2)Where any such payment has been made after the first day of January, 1939, the amount shall be recoverable by the tenant by whom it was made from the landlord, and may without prejudice to any other method of recovery be deducted from any rent payable by him to the landlord.
