Section 469A(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)The Court officer shall despatch warrants to officers-in-charge of police-stations. He shall scrutinize all warrants received by him for despatch, and bring to the notice of the presiding Magistrate any case in which the process is unsuitably directed.
