Information Commissioner : Shri Sharat Sabharwal This matter pertains to an RTI application dated 13.6.2013 filed by the Appellant,  seeking information on seven points regarding guidelines on release of title deeds to the  legal heirs of a deceased borrower.  Not satisfied with the response of the Respondents,  CIC/SH/A/2014/000632 he   filed   second   appeal   dated   10.2.2014   to   the   CIC,   which   was   received   by   the  Commission on 25.2.2014.

2.    The Respondents submitted that the property documents were handed over to the  Appellant on 27.8.2014.  The Appellant was not present, in spite of a written notice having  been sent to him, to plead his case.  However, it appears that he had a  grievance regarding non­return of property documents, which has been settled with the  return of the documents to him.

3. Having   considered   the   records   and   the   submissions   made   before   us   by   the  Respondents, intervention of the Commission is not considered necessary in this case. 

4.  With the above observations, the appeal is disposed of.

5.  Copies of this order be given free of cost to the parties.
