Section 16(6)(a) in The Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998

(a)The Chancellor may, on the recommendation of the Pro-Chancellor on the ground that the Vice-Chancellor has neglected or without reasonable excuse has failed to carry out his responsibility of implementing-the directions issued by the Pro-Chancellor under section 7, by order, remove the Vice-Chancellor at any time from office.
