Section 3(1)(a) in The Bihar Public Irrigation and Drainage Works Act, 1947

(a)a period which shall not be less than forty-five days from the date of such publication, during which any person whose interests are likely to be affected by the proposed work, may present in writing to the prescribed authority any objection to the proposed work; and
