(4)A Police Welfare Fund, under the administration and control of the Welfare Officer, shall be created for the welfare activities and programmes for Police personnel, which will have two components-(a)outright financial grant by the State; and(b)matching grant by the state to the contributions made by the Police personnel, towards the welfare fund.
