Section 14 in The New Delhi Municipal Council Act, 1994
14. Leave of absence of Chairperson.
(1)Leave may be granted to the Chairperson by the Administrator.(2)Whenever such leave is granted to the Chairperson, the Central Government shall appoint another person to officiate as Chairperson in his place.
