Section 12(1) in The West Bengal Preservation Of Historical Monuments And Objects And Excavation Of Archaeological Sites Act, 1957.
(1)The Commissioner shall maintain every State-protected monument in respect of which the State Government has acquired any of the rights mentioned in section 4 or which the State Government has acquired under section 10.
