The case has been taken up for hearing through video-conferencing.
Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case bearing DDR No.30 dated 18.09.2020 under Sections 324, 323, 326, 325, 148, 149 IPC in FIR No.210 dated 18.09.2020 under Sections 452, 323, 427, 148, 149 IPC (Sections 325/326 IPC added later on) at Police Station Maur, District Bathinda.
On 23.12.2020, following order was passed:-

Conferencing.
Learned counsel for the petitioner inter-alia contends that Satnam Singh lodged a FIR against Amandeep Singh, Khandu Singh, Jimmi Singh and other unknown persons with regard to them having trespassed into his house and then giving of beatings to him and his family members and only as a counter blast, after about three hours, the DDR in question was got lodged by Amandeep Singh against Satnam Singh and others including the petitioner; Satnam Singh who is the main accused in the DDR in question has already been granted anticipatory bail by the Trial Court; even if the contents of the DDR are taken as the gospel truth, though vehemently denied, the petitioner is attributed only one injury which has also been declared to be simple in nature; there is no other criminal case in which the petitioner is involved and the petitioner is ready and willing to join investigation as and when called by the investigating agency.

For arguments, adjourned to 31.03.2021. In the meanwhile subject to the petitioner's joining investigation as and when called by the investigating agency as also abiding by the other conditions provided under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C, in the event of his arrest in DDR No.30 dated 18.09.2020 registered under Sections 324, 323, 326, 325, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Maur, District Bathinda in FIR No.210, dated 18.09.2020, registered under Sections 452, 323, 427, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Maur, District Bathinda, he shall be released on ad interim anticipatory bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation to the entire satisfaction of Investigating Officer.
This fact has been admitted by learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Jasbir Singh and submits that petitioner is no more required in further investigation of the case.

However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so by the Investigating Officer and shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
