Section 86(1) in Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj (Conduct of Elections) Rules, 2006
(1)As soon as practicable after the closing of the poll, the Presiding Officer shall close the Control Unit to ensure that no further votes can be recorded and shall detach the Balloting Unit from Control Unit.
