Section 8(1)(c) in Andhra Pradesh University Professional Institutions (Regulation of Admissions into Under-Graduate Professional Courses through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2003

(c)The part of the State comprising the districts of Anantapur, Kurnool, Chittoor, Cuddapah and Nellore shall be regarded as the Sri Venkateswara University Local area (Rayalaseema).

(ii)"The Local Candidate" means: -

(A)A candidate for admission shall be regarded as a local candidate in relation to a local area.
