% 24.11.2023 This is a joint petition under Sections 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for the extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Both the learned counsels submit that the arbitral tribunal was constituted on 01.09.2020. However, on account of the Covid-19 pandemic and the order of Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 10.01.2022 in Suo Moto Writ Petition(C) No.3/2020, the arbitration proceedings commenced only from 05.04.2022 and thereby, 12 months expired on 05.04.2023.. It has been submitted that now the matter is fixed for final arguments on 26.02.2024, 27.02.2024 and 04.03.2024.

Learned counsel for the parties submit that they have mutually participated in the arbitration proceedings thereafter and the six months expired on 05.10.2023. It has been submitted that the mandate may further This is a digitally signed order.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of.
