(3)If the [Panchayat or Gram Sabha] [Substituted by M.P. Act No. 3 of 2001 (w.e.f. 26-1-2001).] fails to comply with a direction under sub-section (2) within six months the State Government may apply to such [Panchayat or Gram Sabha] [Substituted by M.P. Act No. 3 of 2001 (w.e.f. 26-1-2001).] such model bye-laws.
