Section 5(i) in The Maharashtra Land Revenue (Assessment and Settlement of Land Revenue of Agricultural Lands) Rules, 1970
(i)Physical Configuration - The Settlement Officer shall base the information about physical configuration of the zone on inquiries and observations made by him personally.
