Section 13(1) in The Burdwan University Act, 1981.
(1)The Finance Officer shall be a wholetime officer of the University. He shall be appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of a committee consisting of the Vice-Chancellor as Chairman, a nominee of the Chancellor, two nominees of the Executive Council and a nominee of the State Government.
