Section 29A in The Mizo District (Forest) Act, 1955
29A. Presumption that the forest produce belongs to the District Council.
- When in any proceedings taking under this Act or in consequences of anything done under this Act, question arises whether any forest produce is the property of the District Council, such produce shall be presumed to be the property of the District Council until the contrary is proved.
