ORDER
1. The Complainant/Appellant filed an RTI application dated 16.06.2023 seeking information as under:
"According to the notification no A-34012/02/2023/-DE dated 10.03.2023 by director of communication and RE/30-22/2023 dated 17.03.2023 by CPMG for the conduct of LDCE(limited departmental competitive examination for the promotion from GDS to postman and Mail Guard which held on dated 30.04.2023.for the above mentioned examination I sent properly filled up application form along with listed Page 1 of 3 enclosed documents to the inspector of post offices, aska west subdivision Hinjlicut pin- 761102 by the registered post letter no RO098941310IN booked on dated 28.03.2023 and delivered at the office of IPO aska west subdivision Hinjilicut 30.03.2023 through beat no 1.according to the delivery status of departmental web side. Although I sent my application through proper channel within stipulated time period yet admit card is not issued against my application form.
Hence, I request you to kindly supply me the copy of application form with listed enclosement documents for the above-mentioned examination which sent to the inspector of post offices aska west subdivision Hinjilicut, pin-761102."
2. The CPIO replied vide letter dated 30.06.2023 and the same is reproduced as under :-
"Document called for have not been received at this office and could not be supplied."
3. Dissatisfied with the response received from the CPIO, the Complainant/Appellant filed a First Appeal dated 29.07.2023. The FAA's order, if any, is not available on record.
4. Aggrieved with the non-receipt of the desired information, the Complainant/Appellant approached the Commission with the instant Complaint/Second Appeal dated 17.09.2023.
5. The Complainant remained absent during the hearing and on behalf of the Respondent, Kiran Mala Kamra, SPO & CPIO attended the hearing through video conference.
6. The Respondent reiterated the reply provided to the Appellant/Complainant and submitted that the averred application has not been received in the concerned sub- division also therefore no such information is available to be provided. Page 2 of 3
7. The Commission after adverting to the facts and circumstances of the case, hearing the respondent and perusal of records, observed that the CPIO has provided an appropriate reply to the RTI Application as per the provisions of the RTI Act leaving for no scope of intervention in the matter.
8. The Appeal/Complaint is disposed of accordingly.
Copy of the decision be provided free of cost to the parties.
