16. Saving of the operation of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890.
- Nothing contained in sections 14 and 15 shall be deemed to affect the operation of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890 (Central Act VIII of 1890).[Chapter IV] [The Hindu Succession Act, 1956 (Central Act 30 of 1956) has by virtue of section 4(b) thereof an overriding effect over any other law in force immediately before the commencement of that Act in so far as it is inconsistent with any of the provisions of that Act.] Intestate Succession
