Section 110(1) in Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016
(1)On receipt of the permission from the State Government, the Academic Council of the university shall consider grant of first time affiliation to the new college or institution of higher learning or to the new courses of study, subjects, faculties, additional divisions, or satellite centers as the case may be:
