Section 37(1) in The Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy (Revenue Survey and Record of Rights) Rules, 1967
(1)Disputes entered in the register of disputed cases and the entries in the mutation register shall be certified in the village or in its neighbourhood by a revenue or survey officer not below the rank of an Awal Karkun as far as possible within one year from the date of making the entry in the register. For this purpose the certifying officer shall give intimation in Form XI to the talathi sufficiently in advance.
