Section 15 in Civil Court Rules of the High Court of Judicature at Patna
15.
When the person presenting a pleading, affidavit, petition or application is not a pleader or a Mukhtar, he shall, if so required by the Court, be identified. In the case of an illiterate person his thumb impression shall be affixed in place of the signature required in this connection.
