5. Source of recruitment.
- Recruitment to the various categories of posts in the Service shall be made from the following sources:| Post | Source of Recruitment |

| Senior Assistant | By promotion through Selection Committee from amongstsubstantively appointed Senior Clerks. |
| Stenographer (Senior Scale) | By promotion through Selection Committee from amongstsubstantively appointed Stenographers (junior Scale). |
| Office Superintendent. | By promotion through Selection Committee from amongstsubstantively appointed Senior Assistants. |
| Administrative Officer. | By promotion through Selection Committee from amongstsubstantively appointed Office Superintendents. |
