Section 47(1)(b) in Government of India Act, 1935

(b)any reference in this Act or in any other Act to British India shall be construed as a reference to British India and Berar, and any reference in this Act to subjects of His Majesty shall, except forth purposes of any oath of allegiance, be deemed to include a reference to Berar subjects of His Exalted Highness;
