Section 2(d) in The Goa, Daman and Diu Marine Fishing Regulation Act, 1980
(d)"Fishing vessel" means a ship or boat, whether or not fitted with mechanical means of propulsion, which is engaged in sea fishing and includes-(i)a catamaran,(ii)a country craft and(iii)a canoe engaged in sea fishing;
