Section 41(1) in Kerala Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1986
(1)The Authority may, at the request and expense of the owner or occupier of any factory or any shop or commercial establishment provide and maintain fire hydrants, together with all incidental work for the supply of water in case of fire in such factory, shop or commercial establishment and in any such case charge from such owner or occupier the cost of water supplied in connection therewith.
