Section 136 in The Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945
136. Import of cosmetics for personal use.
- Small quantities of cosmetics the import of which is otherwise prohibited under section 10 of the Act, may be imported for personal use subject to the following conditions:(i)the cosmetics shall form part of a passenger's baggage and shall be the property of, and be intended for, the bona fide use of the passenger; and(ii)the cosmetics shall be declared to the Customs authorities if they so direct.
