FACTS:
2. The Appellant through his RTI application dated 22.10.2013 had sought for information with respect to 90% LTC advance in Govt. Aided School Viz i) Whether there is any provision CIC/SA/A/2014/000400 Page 1 that LTC advance upto 90 % of fare can be taken by an employee working with Govt. Aided School ii) If not, the relevant rules, etciv) the details of 90 % advance LTC cases passed by Department in Delhi Govt. aided schools. Having recieved no information within the prescribed period, the appellant preferred First appeal. FAA by his Order dated 06.02.2014 directed the PIO to furnish information within 3 days. Education Officer (Zone 27) replied on 14.02.2014. Being unsatisfied with the information furnished, the appellant has approached the Commission in Second Appeal.
DECISION
3. Both the parties made their submissions. The appellant is requesting for information on the LTC rules, according to which, one can be granted 90% advance. The respondent authority who is having the knowledge about the Government schools, is not sure whether this provision can be applied to the aided public schools. She promised to verify the rules and supply the information to the appellant. The Commission accordingly directs the respondent authority to provide the information to the appellant within seven days from the date of receipt of this order. The appeal is disposed of.
