Section 23(1) in The West Bengal Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1974
(1)If the State Government is satisfied that the Board has made default in performing any of the duties imposed on it by or under this Act or has abused its power, the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, supersede the Board :Provided that before issuing the notification under this sub-section, the State Government shall give a reasonable opportunity to the Board to show cause why it shall not be superseded and shall consider the explanation, if any, of the Board.
