(a)To prevent double payments of house-rent a rent register should be maintained in the office of the Superintendent in B. P. Form No. 223, and all payments, with dates, should be recorded in the respective monthly columns. The payments of rent for May, for instance, should be recorded in the column for May and not in the column for the month in which the payments are made.(b)Officers occupying hired buildings shall submit to the Superintendent, duly filled in, a rent roll in B. P. Form No. 224 by the 10th of the month following that for which the rent is due.
