(2)A street scheme may, within the limits of the area comprised in the scheme, provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:-(a)the acquisition of any land which, in the opinion of the Board, is necessary for the street scheme;(b)the re-laying out of all or any of the lands so acquired, including the construction and reconstruction of buildings by the Board or by persons authorised by the Board in that behalf, and the laying out, construction and alteration of streets and thoroughfares;(c)the draining, water-supply and lighting of streets and thoroughfares so laid out, constructed or altered;(d)the raising, lowering or reclaiming of any land vested in, or to be acquired, by the Board;(e)the provision of open spaces for the better ventilation of the area comprised in the scheme; and(f)the acquisition of any land adjoining any street thoroughfare or open space to be formed under the scheme.
