Section 6(vi) in Andhra Pradesh Government Professional Institutions (Regulation of Admissions into Under-graduate Medical and Dental Professional Courses) Rules, 2003
(vi)The Committee of Admissions shall select and allot candidates into various courses in respect of the seats to be filled by 'competent authority' in the Govt. Professional Colleges, unaided Private Professional Colleges and unaided Minority professional colleges.
