SHRI VE. VAITHILINGAM (PUDUCHERRY): Hon. Speaker, Sir, in Puducherry there is a place called Karaikal. The farmers of Karaikal district are affected because the procurement of their produce has not taken place.…(Interruptions) There is a huge harvest of paddy in Karaikal but there is no procurement centre of the FCI and because of that the farmers are affected. They are not getting the MSP for their produce.…(Interruptions)
I would request the hon. Minister to arrange for procuring paddy from Karaikal farmers.
