In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection General Cadre) Group 'A' Service Rules, 2018, namely :RULES
(1)These rules may be called the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection General Cadre) Group 'A' Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2)They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection General Cadre) Group 'A' Service Rules, 2018 , in Appendix 'B', in Serial No. 5, under column No. 5, for item (2), the following shall be substituted, namely :

(2)Should have passed Degree of Bachelor of Education from a recognized university or institution except in case of persons holding the post of Vocational Masters or Vocational Lecturer or Computer Masters or Computer Faculty Teachers or Agriculture Masters ; and "
